The Forest Ridge golf neighborhood is where you will want to shop if you are in the market for a new residence. Forest Ridge golf neighborhood is located where an old wagon trail was once the thoroughfare. The land was owned by L.S. Robson, who is the grandfather of the developer of Forest Ridge, Joe Robson. Still standing today, a part of this land has the Robson family ranch on it. Prior to development this land was once leased for allowing 2,000 wild Mustangs to roam, aiding in their conservation.

The Oaklane Subdivision was the start of development in the area when construction began in in November 1986. The Tulsa Golf Course construction began in 1988 and opened to the public in October of 1989. Just since the beginning development in 1986, the Forest Ridge golf neighborhood has expanded to 13 separate neighborhood and more than 900 homes.

The Forest Ridge golf neighborhood has been named as the winner of “Best Subdivision” several years. This prestigious award was presented by the Home Builders Association of Greater Tulsa Parade of Homes. Where to Retire Magazine included Forest Ridge as one of the “Top 100 Places to Retire.”

A place apart from many of the communities in Tulsa, the Forest Ridge golf neighborhood believes this neighborhood contains a distinct difference from much of the Forest Ridge real estate. The diverse selection is believed to be the reason for the huge success of this community.
